Altrad announces partnership with CALM
We are proud to announce that Altrad has partnered with Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a leading UK suicide prevention charity dedicated to helping people find hope and support in times of crisis.
At Altrad, we’re committed to building a culture of care – one where everyone feels safe enough to be their authentic selves, and where mental health is valued just as much as physical health. This partnership reflects our belief that wellbeing should be woven into every part of working life, for every role, in every location.
One in four of us will experience suicidal thoughts in our lifetime, and suicide is the biggest killer of men under fifty. But this partnership is not about statistics – it is about people. Mental health affects all of us, and we are committed to making sure everyone at Altrad feels supported and heard.
CALM’s CEO Simon Gunning commented on the partnership: “We are delighted to partner with Altrad, supporting our mission to help people end their misery, not their lives. We know construction workers are four times more likely to die by suicide than the national average. That’s why we’re so passionate about working with Altrad, to make sure more construction workers know all about the life-saving services CALM can offer and can get the help they need when they need it.”
This partnership is more than a campaign – it’s a commitment.
Together with CALM, we’re taking meaningful steps to support mental health across Altrad. Whatever your role, wherever you work, your wellbeing matters.
