The Project Manager – HVAC is responsible for the full end‑to‑end delivery of HVAC‑related Systems, Structures and Components (SSCs) across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC). You will ensure that all assigned scope is delivered safely, to the required quality standards, on schedule, and within budget. Reporting to the Ventilation & Fire Senior Project Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex interfaces, and drive the successful execution of contracts within a major nuclear programme.
Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead the complete EPCC lifecycle for assigned SSCs, ensuring delivery meets safety, quality, time, and cost objectives.
- Oversee all activities associated with contract delivery, ensuring compliance with project requirements and governance processes.
- Define work scope, manage interfaces, and ensure alignment with the overall Programme Execution Plan (PEP).
Supplier & Contract Management
- Support mobilisation of suppliers for classified HVAC contracts, including subcontractor engagement and supply chain readiness.
- Develop and implement bulk supply strategies, initiate tender processes, and secure supply chain support.
- Prepare post‑FID contract documentation, including terms, conditions, technical specifications, and appendices.
- Manage the technical elements of procurement for specific contracts and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Design & Engineering Coordination
- Take a holistic view of nuclear power plant SSCs to maximise replication opportunities and prepare for key contract awards.
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering studies by internal teams and contractors, aligned with project needs.
- Drive implementation of site‑specific design changes into design deliverables and contract specifications.
- Manage internal and external interfaces to ensure coordinated design and delivery across programme scopes.
Risk, Change & Stakeholder Management
- Engage early with stakeholders and suppliers to identify obsolescence risks and replication challenges.
- Ensure lessons learned and knowledge capture are embedded as standard practice.
- Drive contract or package delivery to meet business, technical, and safety requirements.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to prepare manufacturing and construction contracts.
