The QA Engineer – Site Wide ensures that all Project Quality Assurance requirements are fully understood, implemented, and maintained across the site. The role supports compliance with client expectations, statutory obligations, and internal quality standards. Working closely with the QA Area Lead, the QA Engineer contributes to the development of quality standards, incorporation of lessons learned, delivery of training, audit activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure full understanding and implementation of Project Quality Assurance requirements across site activities.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism in all contract‑related interactions.
- Review Life Time Quality Records (LTQRs) to confirm compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Champion Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) to prevent ingress of non‑specified materials, loose items, or debris during assembly and testing.
Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
- Report on quality metrics to measure performance of the works and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain and update CAR/NCR logs and Lessons Learned records.
- Assist the QA Area Lead in preparing inputs for management reports and quality performance updates.
Audit & Surveillance Activities
- Support and participate in scheduled and ad‑hoc audits of project activities.
- Conduct reviews of quality documentation and site practices to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
- Identify non‑conformances and support the development and implementation of corrective actions.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with project team members, construction teams, and management to support quality delivery.
- Provide clear, timely communication on quality issues, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the integration of lessons learned and best practices into the quality management system.
Continuous Improvement & Support
- Assist the QA Area Lead in developing quality standards, training materials, and improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across the project.
- Contribute to the enhancement of quality processes, systems, and documentation.
