The Site Plant Coordinator leads procurement activities for plant, tools, equipment, and consumables (PTEC), ensuring timely and cost‑effective supply to meet project and partner requirements. The role also supports wider site procurement needs, managing purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. A key focus is ensuring compliance with site procurement processes and nuclear safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

Procurement & Order Management

  • Ensure all Order Requisitions are fully approved, incorporating required input from Safety, HR, Security, and Quality teams.
  • Place and expedite purchase orders in line with project timelines and partner requirements.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date log of Order Requisitions and track progress through to completion.

Supplier Engagement & Issue Resolution

  • Contact suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and pricing for current, ongoing, and future task orders.
  • Resolve supplier issues, including performance concerns, delivery delays, and payment queries.
  • Expedite delivery notes from sites and factories to support the Goods Received Note (GRN) process.

Logistics & Financial Support

  • Assist with logistics planning to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials and plant.
  • Support the finance team in clearing blocked invoices and resolving related queries.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Engage with key internal and external project stakeholders as required to support procurement activities.
  • Ensure site personnel receive accurate and complete works information and scope documentation.
  • Compliance & Governance
    Ensure all procurement activities comply with site procurement procedures and nuclear safety requirements.
  • Work within governance frameworks to support project and business objectives.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Produce regular reports for site management, highlighting progress, risks, blockers, mitigations, and upcoming workload.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and site support activities.
