The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for developing and delivering the organisation’s recruitment strategy, ensuring the attraction, selection, and onboarding of high‑quality talent. This role provides leadership to the recruitment function, partners closely with senior stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement across all hiring processes to support business growth and workforce planning.
Recruitment Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Lead and mentor the recruitment team, ensuring high performance and consistent delivery.
- Partner with senior leaders to understand workforce needs and provide strategic hiring guidance.
End‑to‑End Talent Acquisition
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job scoping and sourcing to offer management and onboarding.
- Ensure a high‑quality candidate experience at every stage of the process.
- Manage recruitment for senior, specialist, and hard‑to‑fill roles.
Stakeholder & Hiring Manager Engagement
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, providing coaching and support on best‑practice hiring.
- Facilitate workforce planning discussions and provide market insights to inform hiring decisions.
- Act as a trusted advisor on talent availability, recruitment challenges, and competitive trends.
Process Improvement & Technology
- Review and optimise recruitment processes to improve efficiency, quality, and time‑to‑hire.
- Oversee the use of ATS and recruitment technology, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
- Introduce innovative sourcing methods, employer branding initiatives, and talent pipelines.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
- Analyse recruitment data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce regular reports for HR and leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and internal policies.
External Partnerships
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and external partners.
- Represent the organisation at careers events, networking sessions, and industry forums.
